Activities
At CIS-GH, learning goes beyond the classroom. Alongside our challenging academic curriculum, we offer a dynamic lineup of activities that make school life exciting and enriching. Each year, we host a series of major events that sparks creativity, build connections and create unforgettable experience for our learners.
Sports Day
Sports Day is a much-anticipated event held in Term 2, with separate celebrations for Early Years, Primary, and Secondary learners. This exciting day provides learners with the opportunity to take a break from their academic routines, showcase their athletic talents, and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Beyond competition, Sports Day plays a key role in fostering holistic development, promoting physical well-being, and encouraging a spirit of camaraderie among students.
Chocolate Day
Every February is a time for learners and staff to indulge in delicious treats, engage in fun activities, and learn about the significance of cocoa production in Ghana. This special event not only promotes Ghana’s world-renowned cocoa industry but also serves as a day to spread love, kindness, and appreciation within our school community.
Awards and Recognition
At the end of each academic year, we honor the hard work, dedication, and achievements of both learners and teachers through our Awards & Recognition ceremony. This special event highlights academic excellence, personal growth, and outstanding contributions to the school community. It’s our way of celebrating effort, inspiring continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Co-Curricular Activities
We are dedicated to preparing future leaders by providing a comprehensive education that goes beyond the classroom. To accomplish this, academic and non-academic activities are being incorporated into our termly curriculum. Among these activities are club exhibitions, fun games, project fairs, and club and extracurricular activities. We are confident that our educational programme provides our learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.
Extra-Curricular Activities
We offer a diverse range of extracurricular activities that help students develop new skills, stay active, and explore their passions. From swimming, ballet, and skating to taekwondo and more, our programs provide a fun and engaging way for students to build confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
